T-Tapp 2013 60-Day Challenge:  Five Reasons Why You Should Enter

by Charlotte Siems

Also known as the T-Tapp January Jumpstart, this 60-day exercise challenge begins on Sunday, January 20, 2013. You can find all the details on the contest here. You might be wondering why you should enter an exercise challenge, so here five reasons to do so:

Jumpstart. Most of us are thinking about feeling and looking better in the new year and this is the perfect opportunity to get in gear.

Motivation. Take advantage of of being part of a group (and friendly competition). You’ll find lots of support and advice on the T-Tapp forum so you won’t feel alone in your quest for a smaller you. Working towards a goal as part of a group will help you keep going and keep you motivated.

Accountability. Finding others to cheer you on through the hard parts is as simple as logging on to the forum and joining a group (or forming your own).

Education. Far from being boring, your participation in the Challenge will lead you on a quest for information about T-Tapp form, T-Tapp benefits, workout schedules, nutrition and cutting-edge health products.

Rewards. You could possibly win a trip to the Safety Harbor Resort and Spa in Safety Harbor, Florida to work out with Teresa Tapp and a roomful of friendly T-Tappers. We’re not talking Motel 6 with a gym. This is a historic luxury spa and hotel with sumptuous meals and mineral water and indoor/outdoor pools, hot tubs, sauna and more. But even if you don’t win a trip you’ll win prizes of inch loss, reshaping of your body, newfound energy and maybe some new clothes made necessary by your smaller size…

I will never forget the phone call when I learned that I was a More to Lose Category Winner in the T-Tapp 2007 60-Day Challenge. I was crying, my kids were crowded around me jumping up and down, and my one-year-old was crying because she thought I was being attacked. icon smile T Tapp 2013 60 Day Challenge: Why You Should Enter That trip was a dream come true at a time of my life when I was learning to take better care of myself.

You have time to order DVDs and enter the T-Tapp 2013 60-Day Challenge. What do you have to lose—besides inches?

I'm a happy wife and mom of 12 who lost 100 pounds, shrinking from size 22W to 6 with the T-Tapp workout. I've homeschooled for 26 years, baked a million cookies, taught T-Tapp and kept things together (and mostly sane) at home. I love to help people find practical, real-life solutions for home, family, fitness and business--no guilt or perfection needed!

  1. I started T-Tapp last year because of you – now this is the year to get consistent!

Thank you for being a great role model for home school moms with very many children!

  2. Maybe this challenge is just what I need. I’ll check it out. I sold my DVD years ago, but recently bought them again and did the first workout today.

  3. I met you at the THSC Homeschool conference last August, and continue to be so inspired by you and your family! I’ve lost 2 sizes since I started T-tapping and am hoping to lose 2-3 more sizes. I will defnitely be joining the 60-day challenge.

    Thanks for the inspiration!

  4. Olga Hermans says:

I am in; I need to be motivated to get in shape this year. Looking forward to it.

  5. Jackie Johnson says:

Just started the challenge and am so excited!

  6. I tried over and over to join, but the form always said on Body Type “Please Select”, and the drop-down never gave me any other choice than “Please Select”! So it wouldn’t accept the form! Guess I’ll have to just try to keep up with this at home, like I did last year.

Laura! Kitty (who’s in charge of the Challenge) posted this message: Hello everyone. I’m receiving tons of panicked emails and phone calls right now about the deadline to get everything entered. Since so many people are having difficulties please know that I will leave the form open for everyone to get their information uploaded. Also for those of you still having problems: If you didn’t get the Update Succeded at the top then it didn’t go through. The most common reason for this is one of the following:

    1. Resize your photos and try again
    2. Refresh your browser and try again
    3. Reboot your computer and try again
    4. Change to a different browser and try again
    5. A combination of two or more of the above.

    Let me know….

    So don’t give up!

  8. Thanks, Charlotte, I think I will try to email her and let her know of my issue.

  9. Charlotte, I joined the Challenge but I would really like to work with a trainer to see if I’m doing the moves correctly. Do you have any clinics/sessions/classes that you are giving?
