It’s one thing to hear about someone else’s results and get a general idea about their workout schedule, but it’s even more helpful to get the nitty gritty details.   It’s like the difference between a short, general article about weight loss in a tabloid magazine, and a full, detailed plan in a book. Inquiring minds want to know, so here’s the scoop.
Three weeks ago I shared my dilemna:  the skirt I bought online for my son’s wedding was too tight.  I loved the suit and it was just what I wanted, so I set out on a mini-challenge to fit into the skirt.  I knew it had to be a doable challenge, as the weeks leading up to the wedding were full of errands and summer activities.  Part of the plan was to be more mindful of my eating.  I didn’t do so hot on drinking more water or extra brushing, but I faithfully took at least 8 alfalfa every day.  I told you I would share my T-Tapp schedule, so here it is:
Day 1 – am:  Tempo Lower Body to T-Tapp Twist, Extended Stretching in Linear Alignment (ESLA)
pm:  Organs in Place/Half Frogs (OIP/HF), Ladybug move (LB), Crab Claws (CC)
Day 2 – pm:  ESLA, OIP/HF, LB, CC
Day 3 – am:  PBS, Oil Wells, T-Tapp Twist Stretch
Pm:  ESLA, OIP/HF, LB, CC
Day 4 – am:  Hit the Floor (last 10 minutes), ESLA, OIP/HF, LB, CC
Day 5 – pm:  ESLA, OIP/HF, LB, CC
Day 6 – pm:  ESLA, OIP/HF, LB, CC
Day 7 – off
Day 8 – off
Day 9 – pm:  OIP, CC
Day 10 – pm:  ESLA, OIP/HF, LB, CC
Day 11 – am:  Step It To The Max (10 minutes)

The results?  I lost 5” from waist to knees and 4 ½ pounds.  The skirt fit for the wedding:
Notice I didn’t knock myself out.  I’m sure I could have had even better results, but I was realistic about my busy-ness level.  I felt so good and noticed such a visual reshaping of my thighs that I think I’ll continue this quick bedtime routine consistently.

    Wow, you keep on amazing me ! Well done dear, you look spectacular. 

    This routine looks so interesting, I am definately going to try it, because I simply love these short, creative workouts that yields these great results.  Just by following your program of short, consistent workouts, I am sooo very close to my goal ( I am almost a size 34 now- I started wearing a size 38 last year). 

    Please can I ask the following, what is ESLA? Is it gymnastic stretch or runners stretch?

  2. Hi Helen! ESLA is Extended Stretching in Linear Alignment. You can find it on a Target POP and it is the first move on Ladybug Floor (love it)! I’m so proud of you!!
