Why T-Tapp Worked For Me

Why T-Tapp Worked For Me
by Charlotte Siems

There are many exercise systems in the world.  Something for everybody.

I’ve always been very grateful that I found the perfect workout—for me—on my first try, at age 46.  Here are some reason why T-Tapp worked so great for me, helping me shrink from size 22W to size 6, and stay there for years now:

T-Tapp is an at-home, in-my-bedroom workout.  I didn’t need a babysitter, a trip across town, monthly dues or the embarrassment of comparing myself to fit and slim gym enthusiasts.  I was completely out of shape, with zero confidence in my athletic ability and even less knowledge of gym equipment.  The convenience and privacy of T-Tapp was a perfect first step.

T-Tapp is doable and adaptable.  It took me months to work up to being able to do every repetition, but I still lost inches.  I did what I could and went to my personal max, adapting the schedule for my busy life.

T-Tapp offers variety.  I started out with the Total System (which includes Basic Workout Plus and the Total Workout), but I slowly added other workouts for variety.  My first addition was Step Away the Inches.  And it took me five months to be able to do the whole thing without extra water breaks.

T-Tapp is an intelligent workout.  I was fascinated by the science and muscle mechanics behind the movements.  It made sense and it got results.  To this day, I’m still studying and learning T-Tapp.

T-Tapp is about inch loss.  That was a new concept for me—it didn’t start with weight loss.  It was motivating to lose inches and see my body reshape before my very eyes.

T-Tapp is all about growth.  That’s something that Teresa Tapp said to me.  I would never have guessed that a workout would change me on the inside as much as it changed me on the outside.  Getting in shape physically gave me the confidence and courage to deal with emotional and spiritual issues, too.  All I can say is “Wow.”

T-Tappers are encouraging, kind and supportive.  From Teresa down to the newest newbie, from live events to the online forum, the feeling is always positive and cheerful.  Someone screaming at me, pushing me to my outer limits or demanding that I follow a certain schedule would have crushed my spirit and quickly discouraged me.  I flourished in the atmosphere of “Yes You Can!”

  1. It works for me because it doesn’t aggravate inflammation or cause injuries! I spent years at chiropractors and massage therapists for pain management. I haven’t been to a chiropractor since I started tapping almost 2 years ago! And I only get a massage every now and then for the fun of it:) I had alot of health issues over the years (fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue), and with a change in diet (God made foods 75% of the time) and exercise that is smart (like Charlotte mentioned), I am feeling better, off meds, aligned, and my body is reshaping after a long period of healing from the inside out. I have had a few bouts of major inch loss, but mostly I’ve gained back feeling human. 🙂

  2. T-tapp works for me because it does what is says. The first time I did “try before you buy” my energy level went through the roof. I LOVE that! My muscles are fatigued, but I am energized. Just like it says. (no napping after exercise, because I’m exhausted) I am losing inches and pounds, and have the energy to LIVE my life! And t-tapp doesn’t hurt you, it has physical therapy benefits which help my frozen shoulder issue and give me attractive muscles, not bulky muscles. All this and more in just 15 minutes a day. I could go on and on, but it really is “the workout that WORKS” and fits into my life instead of having to rearrange my life around my workouts. I like working smarter not harder. Go T-Tapp!!!

Hey Charlotte, Are you going to have another class on “eating”. I know you just did, but I just now got the money to join up. I know I would lose even better if my eating was less “emotional” and “on the run”. I know you are busy…just asking! Lord bless you and your precious family….

I don’t have one scheduled at this time–but if you receive my newsletter you’ll see it there first! (sign up in the header or sidebar) Thanks for sharing about your great T-Tapp experience!

  3. Thanks for being so inspiring and encouraging. It’s your testimony that got me back on the wagon, bumpy ride though it is 🙂

  4. I’m interested. I have no idea what it is, from reading this, but I’m interested. I have a similar “still look pregnant” thing going on, 15 mo. after my 4th child and I’m heading into my 40th year this fall.

How did you start? How often were you working out? Trying to lose 50 lbs, happy with a size 10.

    1. Charlotte Siems says:

Hi Lucille, I started with the Instructional for Total Workout, then did the Total Workout. From there I almost always did short workouts of 15-20 minutes such as Basic Workout+ or MORE. However, I believe that T-Tapp is closed. I retired as a trainer several years ago and Teresa Tapp passed away. Not sure where you can find DVDs now.

Lucille, I see that some T-Tapp DVDs are for sale on Amazon.com. Good luck!
